That’s what EAS stands for, right? xR-Alert indeed does make it easy to maintain your alerting compliance here in the Great White North. We’ve taken our proven xR1 fanless platform and made some modifications to host an all-in-one EAS / Public Alerting system for Canadian radio stations.
With xR-Alert in your airchain, your audio path runs through the unit passively until an alert is triggered, at which point our balanced audio output takes over and notifies your audience. It really is that simple. Drop us a line for details!
v1.1 Software now in Beta
To accommodate changes in the Pelmorex / Alert Ready delivery mechanisms coming November 2026, xR-Alert v1.0 users will be receiving a complimentary upgrade to v1.1. This firmware patch targets a number of critical upgrades regarding alert reception and security, while also adding quality of life features such as a streamlined user interface, networking, heartbeat monitoring and SMTP notifications (aka e-mail notifications).

Add power redundancy to your fanless unit with the PTS-xRV 19V Combiner. Designed to ‘bolt-on’ to the rear of the xR1’s heatsink, the dual-in/single-out combiner allows you to feed your unit from two discrete power sources for more mission critical applications. Each xRV bundle includes the required screws, and a 2nd 19V power brick to match the power supply that ships with the xR1 unit.
